Job Title: Instrumentation Engineer / Technician

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation Engineer/ Technician responsible for designing, installing, commissioning, maintaining, and troubleshooting instrumentation and control systems to ensure efficient, safe, and reliable operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Design, select, and specify instrumentation and control systems, including pressure, temperature, flow, and level sensors.

- Read and interpret P&IDs;, instrumentation diagrams, wiring diagrams, and technical datasheets.

- Plan and supervise the installation, calibration, testing, and commissioning of instruments.

- Configure and troubleshoot PLC, DCS, SCADA, and HMI systems.

- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure reliable system performance.

- Conduct loop checks, functional testing, and system validation.

- Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, automation, and production teams.

- Prepare technical documentation, calibration reports, and maintenance records.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.

- Coordinate with vendors and support procurement of instrumentation equipment.

- Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)



and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), where required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Education: B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical and Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.

Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in industrial automation, instrumentation systems, or process control is desirable.

Technical Skills:

- Knowledge of PLC, DCS, SCADA, and HMI systems.

- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs;, loop diagrams, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.

- Troubleshooting and fault diagnosis of sensors, transmitters, control valves, and other field instruments.

- Familiarity with calibration tools such as multimeters, pressure calibrators, and temperature calibrators.

- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as HART, Modbus, Profibus, and Foundation Fieldbus.
