Job Summary

Vortexen Dynamics is looking for a motivated Mechanical Engineering Intern to gain practical exposure to technical sales, estimation, OEM sourcing, lead generation, project documentation, and industrial business development.

The intern will work closely with the technical, sales, and procurement teams and gain hands-on experience in researching industrial products, preparing technical comparisons, supporting quotations, and maintaining business data.

Key Responsibilities

- Research industrial products, manufacturers, OEMs, potential clients, contractors, and project opportunities.
- Support BOQ review, quotation preparation, estimation, and technical comparisons.
- Assist the Sales and Procurement teams with product and supplier research.
- Identify and organize potential leads, suppliers, and business opportunities.
- Support project documentation, data collection, and preparation of technical/commercial information.
- Maintain accurate and structured Excel spreadsheets, CRM records, and databases.
- Use ChatGPT and other AI tools responsibly for research, documentation, analysis, and productivity.
- Make calls to prospects and suppliers when required and after appropriate training.
- Prepare basic weekly reports on assigned tasks, learning, and measurable output.
- Perform other engineering, research,



and business-development support activities as assigned.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Completion of assigned daily research and tasks within deadlines.
- Data accuracy of 95% or above.
- Consistent maintenance of organized and updated records.
- Weekly measurable learning and output report.
- Timely follow-up and completion of assigned activities.

Requirements

- Mechanical Engineering student, recent graduate, or fresh graduate.
- Good written and spoken English communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and other computer applications.
- Robust interest in engineering, industrial products, technical sales, procurement, or business development.
- Good research and analytical skills.
- Willingness to learn and work with new technologies and AI tools.
- Comfortable communicating with prospects and suppliers after receiving appropriate training.
- Self-motivated, curious, organized, and willing to take responsibility for assigned tasks.
