Job Description – Mechanical Design Engineer

Position: Mechanical Design Engineer

Experience: 3–4 Years

Location: Chikhali, Pune

Industry: SPM / Industrial Automation / Material Handling

Software: Solid Edge

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop SPM, conveyor and material handling systems using Solid Edge.

Prepare 3D models, assemblies, GA drawings, manufacturing drawings and BOMs.

Develop mechanical concepts as per customer requirements and project specifications.

Select suitable mechanical components, materials and bought-out components.

Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Vendors and Project teams for design execution.

Support manufacturing, assembly, installation and resolve design-related issues.

Ensure designs are practical,



cost-effective and suitable for manufacturing.

Key Skills

Robust hands-on experience in Solid Edge

SPM & Conveyor Design

3D Modelling & 2D Detailing

Knowledge of Mechanical Components & Manufacturing Processes

BOM, GD&T;, Tolerance & Assembly Drawing

Qualification: BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Preferred: Candidates with hands-on experience in SPM, conveyor or automation projects.
