NPD Quality Engineer (Automotive)

Position SummaryThe NPD Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all new automotive products meet strict internal, customer, and regulatory quality standards from the initial design phase through to mass production launch. This role drives the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) process, manages risk assessment tools like FMEA, and leads the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) to guarantee seamless product launches with zero defects.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Industrial Engineering (or a related technical field).
- Experience:



3–5 years of quality engineering experience specifically within an automotive manufacturing environment.
- Core Tools Mastery: Deep, practical knowledge of Automotive Core Tools: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC.
- Standards: Strong familiarity with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 quality management systems.
- Problem Solving: Certification or proven expertise in Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt) or Shainin methodologies is highly desirable.
- Technical Reading: Proficient in reading engineering drawings and interpreting Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T;).

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
