We are looking for a passionate and experienced Photography Tutor / Instructor to teach students photography skills from beginner to advanced levels. The ideal candidate should have strong practical photography experience and the ability to explain technical concepts through hands-on training and real-world examples.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach photography fundamentals to beginners and advanced learners.
- Explain camera settings, exposure, composition, lighting, and photography techniques.
- Train students on:
- Aperture
- Shutter Speed
- ISO
- Exposure
- Focus and Depth of Field
- White Balance
- Composition
- Framing
- Natural and Artificial Lighting
- Teach students how to use DSLR and mirrorless cameras effectively.
- Provide practical assignments and photography projects.
- Teach different photography genres such as:
- Portrait Photography
- Product Photography
- Street Photography
- Landscape Photography
- Event Photography
- Food Photography
- Fashion Photography
- Provide guidance on photo selection, editing, and post-processing.
- Teach basic and advanced photo editing using tools such as Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.
- Review students' photographs and provide constructive feedback.
- Prepare structured lesson plans, exercises,
and learning materials.
- Help students develop their own photography style and portfolio.
- Conduct practical demonstrations and online classes when required.
Requirements
- Robust practical knowledge of photography.
- Experience using DSLR or mirrorless cameras.
- Good understanding of exposure, composition, lighting, and camera techniques.
- Previous experience as a Photographer, Photography Trainer, or Instructor is preferred.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and patiently.
- Strong creative and visual skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in professional photography and portfolio development.
- Knowledge of Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, or similar editing software.
- Experience with studio and outdoor photography.
