Job summary :

We are looking for a passionate and creative Fashion Design Faculty to join our institution. The candidate will be responsible for teaching fashion design concepts, practical skills, pattern making and garment construction, textile knowledge and design development while guiding students through academic and practical projects.

Key responsibilities:

- Teach fashion design theory and practical subjects to students.
- Develop and deliver engaging lessons, demonstrations, and practical classes.
- Teach fashion illustration, garment construction, pattern making, draping, and textile design.
- Guide students in developing collections, design concepts, assignments and projects.
- Provide practical demonstrations and supervise students during laboratory/workshop sessions.
- Evaluate student assignments, practical records, projects, and examinations.
- Support students in developing their creativity, technical skills, and design portfolios.
- Stay updated with current fashion trends, design techniques, textiles, and industry practices.
- Organize fashion shows, exhibitions, workshops, seminars,



and other academic activities.
- Maintain lesson plans, attendance, student records, and academic documentation.
- Encourage students to participate in competitions and industry-related activities.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, Textile Design, Costume Design, or a related field.
- Positive knowledge of fashion design and garment production.
- Strong practical skills in pattern making, sewing, draping, garment construction, and fashion illustration.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Teaching experience in a fashion design institution is preferred.
- Industry experience will be an added advantag
