Usshmaa Wellness Retreat is seeking an experienced, responsible and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily housekeeping operations and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and guest comfort.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and organizational skills, experience in hotel or resort housekeeping, and the ability to supervise a team while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. You will play a key role in maintaining the retreat's hospitality standards and creating a clean, comfortable and welcoming environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all guest rooms and public areas are maintained to high standards.
- Lead, train and manage housekeeping staff, assign daily duties and monitor team performance.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors and common areas to ensure cleanliness, hygiene and quality standards.
- Ensure timely room preparation, cleaning schedules and readiness for guest check-ins.
- Monitor and manage linen, housekeeping supplies, cleaning materials and inventory.
- Maintain proper hygiene, sanitation, health and safety standards throughout the property.
- Coordinate with the Front Office regarding room status, guest arrivals, departures and special requests.
- Identify and report maintenance issues, damages and repair requirements to the Maintenance Department.
- Handle guest housekeeping requests and resolve cleanliness-related concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain housekeeping checklists, inspection records, staff attendance and inventory reports.
- Ensure proper use, storage and maintenance of cleaning equipment and materials.




- Implement efficient housekeeping procedures to maintain operational standards and guest satisfaction.

Requirements

- 5+ years of experience in housekeeping operations, preferably in a hotel, resort or luxury hospitality environment.
- Previous experience supervising or leading a housekeeping team.
- Strong knowledge of room cleaning procedures, hygiene, sanitation and hotel housekeeping standards.
- Good leadership, communication and team management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workloads and meet operational deadlines.
- Knowledge of linen management, inventory control and housekeeping equipment.
- Professional attitude, problem-solving abilities and a guest-focused approach.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and holidays as required.
