- Inspect incoming raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to check dimensions and tolerances.
- Identify defects, deviations, and non-conformities, and report them for corrective action.
- Maintain quality inspection records and generate reports.
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, customer requirements, and company quality policies.
- Assist in implementing and improving quality control procedures.
- Conduct final inspections before dispatch to ensure product reliability and compliance.
Key Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in quality inspection in the mechanical/manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and ISO standards.
- Proficiency in using measuring tools and inspection equipment.
- Solid attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
