About Unilights

Unilights is a lighting manufacturing company specialising in decorative lighting, bespoke chandeliers and architectural lighting solutions. With dedicated manufacturing facilities and an upcoming 20,000 sq. ft. Lighting Experience Centre in Mumbai, we are expanding our team to strengthen our technical, project execution and site coordination capabilities.

We are looking for a technically proficient and proactive Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, lighting installations and site supervision.

The candidate will be responsible for supervising on-site electrical and lighting installations, coordinating with contractors and project teams, resolving technical issues and ensuring the timely execution of projects. The role requires regular travel to project sites and excellent English communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise on-site installation, testing and commissioning of lighting fixtures, LED products and electrical systems.
- Conduct regular visits to project sites to monitor work progress, installation quality and adherence to project schedules.
- Coordinate with electrical contractors, site supervisors,



architects, interior designers and project management teams.
- Ensure lighting installations are executed according to approved drawings, technical specifications and safety standards.
- Read and interpret electrical layouts, wiring diagrams, lighting plans and technical drawings.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and resolve installation-related technical issues.
- Monitor site readiness, material availability, installation progress and project completion timelines.
- Inspect installed lighting fixtures and ensure proper functionality, finishing and quality.
- Prepare site visit reports, progress updates, snag lists and installation documentation.
- Coordinate with internal design, production, dispatch and project teams for timely material delivery and execution.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety practices and applicable technical standards.
- Communicate professionally with clients, contractors and internal stakeholders in English.
- Travel regularly to project sites as required by business and project needs.

Mandatory Qualifications & Skills

- B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience in electrical site supervision, installation, testing and commissioning.




- Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring, circuits and lighting installations.
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings, lighting layouts and technical specifications.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
- Willingness to travel regularly to project sites.
- Solid coordination, problem-solving and site management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and preparation of site reports.
- Ability to manage multiple site activities and meet project deadlines.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in architectural lighting, LED lighting, decorative lighting or lighting-fixture installation.
- Experience coordinating with architects, interior designers, electrical contractors and project teams.
- Knowledge of LED drivers, lighting controls, electrical testing and commissioning procedures.

Compensation & Work Details

- Salary: ₹35,000–₹40,000 per month, depending on experience and suitability.
- Work Location: Vile Parle (East), Mumbai.
- Site Visits: Regular travel to project locations is an essential part of the role.
- Joining: Immediate joiners preferred.
