Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Production Engineer with robust knowledge of compounding and rubber processing, particularly in extrusion and wire & cable applications using peroxide curing systems. The candidate should have hands-on experience in rubber mixing, testing, production monitoring, and process control.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day production activities.
- Handle rubber formulations and ensure proper mixing, processing, and batch consistency.
- Operate and maintain knowledge of rubber mixing mills and related production equipment.
- Conduct and monitor testing using MDR (Moving Die Rheometer) and MVR (Melt Volume Rate) testing machines.
- Monitor compound quality and troubleshoot production or processing issues.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth production.
- Maintain production records, batch documentation, and process parameters.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and production standards.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, waste reduction,



and productivity enhancement.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of compounding.
- Practical knowledge of rubber technology and rubber processing.
- Experience in rubber extrusion.
- Knowledge of wire & cable rubber compounds.
- Experience with peroxide cure systems.
- Hands-on experience with rubber mixing mill operations.
- Working knowledge of MDR and MVR testing equipment.
- Good understanding of rubber testing, compound properties, and process parameters.
- Good problem-solving and production coordination skills.

Candidate Profile

- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Qualification in Rubber Technology / Rubber Technologist preferred.
- Candidates with practical experience in compounding, extrusion, and peroxide curing will be preferred.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Silvassa, Daman and Diu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
