Jyoti Dalal School of Liberal Arts (JDSOLA) at NMIMS (deemed-to-be) University is seeking a faculty member for its four-year BA Liberal Arts program, Major Area: Literature, Culture & Philosophy. We are looking for someone who works comfortably across the printed text, the stage and the screen, and can teach at least two of the following with real depth:
Modern World Literature and Modern Indian Literature
Poetry and the Novel
Creative Writing
Indian Cinema, Theatre and OTT / streaming cultures

Role Expectations

The selected candidate is expected to deliver high-quality undergraduate teaching (teaching hours in a week as per UGC guidelines), contribute to research publications, and participate in curriculum development. The role requires sustained student mentorship, academic discipline, and measurable contributions to institutional growth.

Qualifying Criteria – ASSISTANT PROFESSOR:

a. A Master ‘s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
