Job Purpose

To carry out installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment in line with safety norms and statutory requirements, ensuring uninterrupted plant and facility operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, control panels, motors, switchgear, lighting, and distribution systems.
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of production machinery and utilities, with minimal downtime.
- Diagnose electrical faults using testing instruments (multimeter, megger, clamp meter) and fix them promptly.
- Read and follow electrical drawings, circuit diagrams, and wiring layouts.
- Work under the guidance of the Electrical Supervisor and follow instructions on all jobs.
- Follow safety procedures, including LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out), PPE usage, and permit-to-work systems.
- Maintain daily maintenance logs, checklists, and breakdown records.
- Report hazards, unsafe conditions, and equipment issues to the supervisor immediately.
- Keep tools, instruments, and the work area clean and in good order.




- Support electrical audits and statutory inspections as required.

Qualifications & Licensing

- Valid "C" License (Electrical Wireman Helper Competency Certificate / as applicable under the state Electricity Licensing Board)
- ITI (Electrician / Wireman) or Diploma in Electrical Engineering preferred
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or textile environment

Skills & Competencies

- Sound knowledge of single-phase and three-phase systems, motors, starters, and control circuits
- Basic knowledge of PLC, VFD, and MCC panels (an added advantage)
- Fault-finding and troubleshooting ability
- Awareness of electrical safety standards and IE Rules
- Willingness to work in shifts and respond to emergency breakdowns
- Positive team coordination and discipline

Working Conditions

- Industrial plant environment; may require shift duty and overtime based on operational needs.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
