About the Role

We are looking for a Hybrid & Electric Vehicles (HEV/EV) Trainer / Mentor with 1–2 years of practical experience to conduct online training sessions and mentor our interns.

The trainer will help learners develop a strong understanding of electric and hybrid vehicle technologies, including electric powertrains, batteries, charging systems, vehicle control systems, and the fundamentals of modern automotive electrification.

This is a flexible part-time opportunity requiring only 2 hours per week, making it suitable for EV/HEV engineers, automotive professionals, battery specialists, and industry practitioners who enjoy teaching and mentoring.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct 2 hours of online HEV/EV training per week.
- Explain electric and hybrid vehicle concepts in a simple, practical, and engaging manner.
- Provide practical knowledge of:
- EV & Hybrid Vehicle Fundamentals
- Electric Vehicle Architecture
- Electric Powertrain Systems
- Battery Technology & Battery Packs
- Battery Management Systems (BMS)
- Electric Motors & Motor Controllers
- Power Electronics Fundamentals
- DC-DC Converters & Inverters
- Regenerative Braking
- EV Charging Systems & Charging Standards
- Vehicle Control Systems
- Energy Management in Hybrid Vehicles
- EV/HEV Safety & Basic Troubleshooting
- Automotive Communication Protocols such as CAN




- Use real-world EV/HEV examples and case studies during sessions.
- Guide learners through practical exercises, simulations, and technical projects.
- Explain the interaction between mechanical, electrical, electronic, and software systems in up-to-date vehicles.
- Address learner questions and provide constructive feedback.
- Introduce learners to relevant automotive tools, technologies, and industry practices.

Requirements

- 1–2 years of practical experience in Electric Vehicles, Hybrid Vehicles, Automotive Engineering, Battery Systems, Automotive Electronics, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of EV/HEV architecture and technologies.
- Knowledge of batteries, electric motors, power electronics, and vehicle control systems.
- Familiarity with BMS and CAN communication is preferred.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to beginners.
- Prior teaching, training, or mentoring experience will be an advantage.
- Comfortable conducting online training sessions.
