About the Role
We are looking for a responsible and organised Spare Parts In-charge to manage inventory, spare parts availability, stock records, and coordination with the workshop and service team at a reputed automobile/two-wheeler dealership.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily spare parts inventory and stock levels.
- Ensure the availability of required spare parts for servicing and repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of stock receipts, issues, returns and transfers.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely procurement.
- Monitor fast-moving, slow-moving and non-moving inventory.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
- Coordinate with the service and workshop teams for parts requirements.
- Prepare purchase requests and maintain stock documentation.
- Ensure proper storage, identification and organisation of spare parts.
- Minimise stock shortages, excess inventory and wastage.
Requirements
- Experience in spare parts management, preferably in an automobile or two-wheeler dealership.
- Knowledge of automobile spare parts, inventory management and stock control.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with MS Excel or inventory software.
- Valuable coordination, organisational and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Honest, responsible and systematic approach to work.
