MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
• 5+ years relevant experience in payments, banking, fintech, financial services, or regulatory compliance, with managerial exposure.
• Solid payment operations & regulatory knowledge, including settlements, reconciliations, customer fund protection, IFSCA/RBI regulations, and ideally GIFT City/cross-border payments.
• Experience dealing with IFSCA/regulators, banks, auditors, senior management, and ideally working with a regulated PSP, bank, payment aggregator, wallet, or fintech.

JOB ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Oversee the payment services business and ensure compliance with applicable IFSCA regulations, circulars and conditions of authorisation.
• Act as the principal point of contact for IFSCA in relation to the PSP business.
• Manage regulatory applications, approvals,



notifications, periodic filings and responses to regulatory queries.
• Establish and manage business partnerships with banks, payment networks, technology providers and other service providers.
• Oversee payment processing, settlements, reconciliations, refunds and exception management.
• Present periodic compliance, risk and operational updates to senior management and the Board.
• Support regulatory inspections, audits and independent assessments, and ensure timely closure of observations.
• Maintain complete regulatory records, policies, approvals, Board documentation and audit trails.
• Promote a solid culture of regulatory compliance, customer protection and risk ownership across the organisation.
• Act as a senior point of contact for complex customer queries, complaints and payment-related escalations.
