Position: Godown Supervisor
Location: Indore, Madhya Pradesh

Reporting To: Warehouse Manager / Plant Head

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Godown Supervisor to oversee warehouse operations, inventory management, labour handling, and shift scheduling for our tyre distribution operations in Indore. The role requires ensuring smooth inward and outward movement of tyres, proper manpower utilization, inventory accuracy, and adherence to safety standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse & Inventory Management

- Supervise receiving, storage, stacking, and dispatch of tyres.
- Ensure proper inventory control and stock accuracy.
- Maintain FIFO practices and minimize stock damage.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconciliations.
- Coordinate with logistics, transporters, and sales teams for timely dispatches.

Labour Management

- Manage and supervise warehouse labour and contractors.
- Allocate work and monitor daily productivity targets.
- Maintain attendance, overtime, and labour deployment records.
- Ensure discipline, safety compliance, and efficient workforce utilization.
- Resolve day-to-day labour issues and coordinate with HR where required.

Shift Scheduling & Manpower Planning

- Prepare and manage shift rosters for warehouse employees and labour.
- Ensure adequate manpower availability for all operational shifts.
- Monitor shift handovers and operational continuity.
- Track shift-wise loading, unloading, and dispatch performance.
- Optimize manpower deployment to meet business requirements.

Safety & Housekeeping

- Ensure compliance with warehouse safety standards and PPE usage.




- Maintain clean and organized storage areas.
- Monitor tyre stacking as per safety norms.
- Report and investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses.

Reporting & Documentation

- Maintain stock records, dispatch reports, and inventory MIS.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse reports.
- Ensure accurate documentation of inward and outward material movement.

Qualifications

- Graduate in any discipline.
- Diploma in Warehouse Management or Supply Chain will be preferred.

Experience

- 3-6 years of experience in warehouse/godown operations.
- Experience in tyre, automotive, logistics, FMCG, or manufacturing industry preferred.
- Hands-on experience in labour management and shift scheduling is mandatory.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
