About the Role

We are looking for a responsible and organized Transport & Canteen Associate to oversee the smooth and efficient functioning of the school's transportation and canteen operations.

The role will involve coordinating school bus operations, ensuring student safety and timely transportation, managing transport vendors and staff, and overseeing the day-to-day functioning of the school canteen, including food quality, hygiene, vendors, and compliance with school standards.

Key Responsibilities

Transport Management

- Coordinate and manage the school's daily bus transportation operations.
- Plan and monitor bus routes, pickup/drop points, and transportation schedules.
- Coordinate with bus drivers, attendants, transport vendors, and parents regarding daily transport requirements.
- Ensure buses operate according to the approved schedules and routes.
- Maintain updated records of students using school transportation.
- Handle transport-related queries, complaints, and concerns raised by parents.
- Monitor driver and attendant attendance, punctuality, and conduct.
- Ensure all required vehicle documents, permits, insurance, fitness certificates, and other compliance documents are up to date.
- Coordinate regular vehicle maintenance, servicing, and cleanliness.
- Monitor adherence to school safety protocols and transportation guidelines.
- Ensure proper procedures are followed during student pickup and drop-off.
- Handle any transport-related incidents or emergencies and escalate them to the appropriate authority.
- Maintain transport-related reports, records, and documentation.

Canteen Management





- Oversee the day-to-day functioning of the school canteen.
- Coordinate with canteen staff and external food vendors.
- Ensure food is prepared, stored, and served in accordance with required hygiene and safety standards.
- Monitor food quality, freshness, portion sizes, and overall service quality.
- Ensure the canteen premises, kitchen, equipment, and serving areas are maintained in a clean and hygienic condition.
- Coordinate meal/snack schedules and ensure timely availability of food for students and staff.
- Monitor inventory of food items, supplies, and other canteen requirements.
- Coordinate procurement and replenishment of necessary supplies.
- Monitor vendor performance and address service or quality-related concerns.
- Maintain records related to stock, vendors, purchases, and daily operations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable food safety and school hygiene requirements.
- Collect and address feedback from students, staff, and the school administration regarding canteen services.

General Administration & Coordination

- Act as the primary point of coordination for transport and canteen-related operational matters.
- Maintain proper documentation and daily/weekly operational reports.
- Coordinate with the school administration, staff, parents, vendors,



and service providers as required.
- Identify operational issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Support the school in maintaining a safe, hygienic, and well-organized environment for students and staff.
- Perform other administrative and operational responsibilities assigned by the School Administration.

Requirements

- Graduate in any discipline.
- 2–5 years of experience in school administration, transport management, facility management, hospitality, canteen/food service operations, or a similar role.
- Prior experience in a school or educational institution will be an advantage.
- Solid coordination and vendor management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle parents, staff, drivers, attendants, and external vendors professionally.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office/Google Workspace and basic documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple operational activities simultaneously.
- A responsible and safety-conscious approach, particularly when dealing with student transportation and food services.

Working Hours

School timing: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

As per the school's operational requirements and working schedule.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
