Job Overview

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer – Project Cum Technical Manager to manage the end-to-end execution of pipe support orders. The role involves technical coordination with clients, engineering and drawing approvals, production planning, procurement, dispatch, invoicing, and payment follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage project execution from order receipt to final invoicing and payment collection.
- Coordinate with clients for technical discussions, specifications, clarifications, and approvals.
- Review and coordinate the preparation and submission of pipe support drawings, technical documents, and calculations.
- Follow up with clients for drawing approvals and closure of technical comments.
- Coordinate with the factory for production planning, material availability, manufacturing priorities, and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate procurement of outsourced materials and components as required.
- Monitor project progress against committed delivery schedules and address delays.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Production, QA/QC, Dispatch, and Accounts for project execution.
- Coordinate inspection, testing,



documentation, packing, and dispatch as required.
- Ensure timely invoicing and submission of customer documents.
- Follow up with customers for pending payments and outstanding receivables.
- Maintain project-wise order status, schedules, pending actions, and MIS reports.

Desired Skills

- Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering and fabrication processes.
- Understanding of pipe supports, piping components, steel fabrication, and engineering drawings.
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
- Solid project coordination, planning, follow-up, and client communication skills.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and AutoCAD.
- Ability to independently manage multiple projects and cross-functional coordination.

Preferred Background

Mechanical Engineer with 5–8 years of experience in pipe supports, piping, fabrication, EPC, industrial engineering, or similar manufacturing/project execution environments.
