Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Project Costing & Finance Analyst with 4+ years of experience in project finance, cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting, revenue management, and financial reporting. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring project financial performance, analyzing actuals against budgets and estimates, identifying cost variances, and providing financial insights to management.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage project costing, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for multiple projects.
- Prepare and maintain project estimates, budgets, actual P&L;, and forecasts.
- Perform Actual vs Budget vs Estimate analysis and identify significant variances.
- Monitor direct and indirect project costs, including manpower/salary, bandwidth, vendor, and operational costs.
- Conduct project cost analysis and variance analysis to identify cost overruns and savings opportunities.
- Perform root-cause analysis for cost variances and provide recommendations to management.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, dashboards, and management presentations.
- Track project revenue, costs, gross margin, and project profitability.
- Support annual budgeting and forecasting and track financial performance throughout the year.
- Monitor and forecast headcount/manpower costs on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Analyze revenue and cost by LOB/project/business unit.
- Support monthly revenue recognition and revenue booking activities.
- Monitor accruals, unaccrued revenue, receivables, and overdue payments.




- Review aging reports and coordinate with relevant teams for payment follow-ups.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal procurement teams for PR/PO-related activities.
- Support invoice preparation, billing, and resolution of invoice-related queries.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Business Teams, Operations, Procurement, Accounts, and Customers.
- Prepare financial slides and quarterly business review presentations.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for effective cost control.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data and reports.

Required Skills

- 4+ years of experience in Project Finance / Project Costing / Financial Analysis / FP&A; / Management Accounting.
- Strong understanding of project costing and project profitability.
- Experience in Budgeting & Forecasting.
- Strong knowledge of Actual vs Budget vs Forecast analysis.
- Experience in P&L; analysis and variance analysis.
- Experience in revenue and cost tracking.
- Good understanding of direct and indirect costs.
- Experience in headcount and manpower cost analysis.
- Knowledge of billing, invoicing, PR/PO, accruals, and revenue recognition.
- Strong MS Excel skills including data analysis and reporting.
- Knowledge of Power BI is an added advantage.
- Experience with SAP / Oracle / Ariba / ERP or other financial systems is preferred.
- Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
