Experience Requirement:

Overall Retail Experience: Minimum 5 years
Assistant Store Manager / Supervisory Experience: Minimum 2 years
Preferred Background: Premium fashion, jewellery, accessories, luxury or lifestyle retail.

About Store:
It's a premium men’s accessories brand known for distinctive design, craftsmanship and statement pieces. We are looking for an experienced, energetic and customer-focused Assistant Store Manager for our Santacruz store in Mumbai. The role will support the Store Manager in driving sales, managing the team and ensuring smooth day-to-day store operations while delivering a premium customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support the Store Manager in managing the overall day-to-day operations of the store.
- Drive store sales and contribute towards achieving monthly, seasonal and category-wise sales targets.
- Lead, motivate and supervise the store sales team and ensure strong floor discipline.
- Ensure every customer receives a premium, personalised and professional in-store experience.
- Handle customer queries, complaints and escalations in a timely and qualified manner.
- Monitor individual team performance and support staff in improving conversions, average order value and cross-selling.
- Manage opening and closing procedures and ensure store readiness at all times.
- Maintain high standards of visual merchandising, product presentation, grooming and store hygiene.
- Monitor stock availability and coordinate replenishment requirements with the concerned teams.
- Ensure accurate inventory handling, stock counts,



inward/outward movement and proper product storage.
- Minimise inventory discrepancies, product damages and stock loss.
- Coordinate with warehouse, merchandising, accounts and management teams for smooth store operations.
- Assist with staff attendance, shift scheduling, weekly offs and floor allocation.
- Train and guide team members on products, customer handling, selling techniques and store SOPs.
- Ensure billing, cash handling, POS and store documentation processes are followed accurately.
- Review daily sales, footfall, conversion and other relevant store performance metrics.
- Maintain strong relationships with repeat and high-value customers and support customer follow-ups.
- Take responsibility for store operations in the absence of the Store Manager.

Candidate Profile:

- Young, energetic, responsible and highly customer-focused.
- Strong experience in retail sales, team handling and floor management.
- Confident in managing and motivating a sales team.
- Strong understanding of target achievement and premium customer service.
- Presentable, well-groomed and comfortable interacting with premium and high-value customers.
- Proactive and capable of independently handling day-to-day store situations.
- Organised and comfortable working with sales reports, inventory and operational data.
- Able to work in a fast-paced retail environment, including weekends, peak periods and festive seasons.
