About the Role

We are hiring an experienced Assistant Manager – Property Accounting to lead a team of 15–20 accounting professionals and oversee day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in General Accounting, RTR, GL, reconciliations, financial reporting, and team management. Property Accounting and Yardi/RealPage experience will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage a team of 15–20 accounting professionals, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Oversee General Accounting, RTR, General Ledger, reconciliations, and cash postings.
- Prepare and review accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and reporting quality.
- Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and support team development.




- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve accounting and operational issues within agreed timelines.
- Ensure adherence to accounting processes, controls, and quality standards.

Requirements

- 7+ years of relevant accounting experience.
- Currently managing a team; individual contributor profiles will not be considered.
- Minimum 3 years of experience at Assistant Manager / Team Lead level.
- Strong knowledge of General Accounting, RTR, GL, reconciliations, and cash postings.
- Experience in Property Accounting will be preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Yardi, RealPage, or similar accounting software is an advantage.
- Strong team management, stakeholder management, analytical, and communication skills.
