Key Responsibilities
Material Receiving
- Receive materials such as plywood, MDF, laminates, veneers, hardware, glass, metal items, paints, electrical and plumbing materials.
- Check quantity and condition of materials against Purchase Orders, Delivery Challans and invoices.
- Report shortages, damages or wrong materials to the Purchase/Accounts Department.
- Prepare and maintain Goods Receipt Notes (GRN).
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate stock records for all materials.
- Update inward, outward and balance quantities in ERP/software or Excel.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification.
- Identify slow-moving, excess, damaged and shortage materials.
- Maintain minimum and maximum stock levels as required.
Material Issue
- Issue materials to production, project sites and other departments against authorized Material Requisition/Issue Slips.
- Ensure materials are issued according to approved quantities.
- Maintain proper records of all material movements.
Storage & Housekeeping
- Arrange materials systematically with proper identification/labels.
- Ensure proper storage of plywood, laminates, hardware, paints, adhesives, glass and other materials.
- Follow FIFO where applicable.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety and proper utilization of store space.
Coordination
- Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Projects, Accounts and Site teams regarding material requirements.
- Inform the Purchase/Management team about materials approaching minimum stock levels.
- Coordinate with project sites for material dispatch and return of unused materials.
Documentation
- Maintain GRNs, Material Issue Slips, Return Notes, Stock Registers and other store documents.
- Maintain records of rejected, damaged and returned materials.
- Submit daily/weekly/monthly stock reports to the reporting manager.

4. Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma / Graduate in any discipline; Store/Inventory qualification is an advantage.
- 2–5 years of experience in stores, preferably in interior, furniture, construction, retail fit-out or manufacturing industries.
- Knowledge of materials such as plywood, MDF, laminates, hardware, veneer, glass, metal and paints.
- Good knowledge of Excel and inventory/ERP software.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and handle multiple material requirements.
- Knowledge of basic safety practices in warehouse/store operations.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹37,000.00 per month
