Indirect Purchasing (IdP) – Regional Buyer

Role Summary

We are looking for an Indirect Purchasing (IdP) – Regional Buyer to manage regional supplier activities, purchasing processes, contracts, and cost/productivity initiatives across multiple plants.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage regional indirect purchasing activities and supplier performance.
- Participate in competitive bidding, supplier evaluation, and commodity projects.
- Implement and monitor supplier contracts and compliance.
- Consolidate local requirements, optimize the supplier base, and lead negotiations.
- Manage local purchases, projects, contracts, and supplier issues.
- Drive cost-saving and productivity initiatives beyond price negotiations.
- Work with Plant Managers and cross-functional teams to identify savings through standardization,



consumption reduction, and process improvements.
- Manage Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure compliance with purchasing policies, FCP rules, and Code of Ethics.
- Resolve recurring supplier issues related to pricing, quantity, contracts, and invoice discrepancies.

Requirements

- 3+ years of experience as a Buyer/Purchasing professional in an industrial environment.
- Robust negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Experience in supplier management, sourcing, contracts, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization.
- Strong results orientation and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent English communication is mandatory.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,400,000.00 per year
