Position Summary
Level: Manager or equivalent
We are seeking a Sales Operations Technologist Manager to lead the design and implementation of scalable Sales Operations solutions across CRM, CPQ, ERP, data, analytics, and AI platforms. This role combines deep Sales Operations domain expertise with solution architecture, systems integration, automation, delivery leadership, and practical application of Agentic AI.
The successful candidate will help life sciences organizations improve commercial effectiveness across pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, diagnostics, and healthcare businesses. The Manager will lead client engagements, shape solution strategies, develop high-performing teams, and contribute to the growth of our Sales Operations and commercial technology capabilities.
Work you’ll do:
As a Manager, you will lead multidisciplinary teams and work directly with client executives, commercial leaders, business stakeholders, IT organizations, data teams, and technology partners to deliver measurable business outcomes. You will be responsible for shaping solutions from strategy and discovery through design, implementation, adoption, and value realization.
You will lead and oversee work across the following areas:
- Translate Sales Operations requirements into scalable solutions supporting territory and account alignment, segmentation and targeting, quota and incentive planning, sales forecasting, pipeline and opportunity management, account planning, field productivity, pricing and quoting, approvals, and commercial performance reporting.
- Define enterprise solution architectures and delivery approaches integrating CRM, CPQ, ERP, data, analytics, workflow, and AI platforms.
- Lead implementations and solution delivery across platforms such as Salesforce, Veeva, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, SAP, and other enterprise applications.
- Establish reusable integration patterns, APIs, data models, workflows, accelerators, and delivery standards that can be deployed across client environments.
- Identify, prioritize, and oversee practical Agentic AI use cases, including sales planning assistants, forecasting and pipeline analysis agents, next-best-action recommendations, account and territory intelligence, automated opportunity and CRM hygiene, quoting and approval support, and sales performance insights.
- Define and oversee human-in-the-loop controls, access controls, auditability, evaluation criteria, monitoring, and escalation paths for AI-enabled solutions.
- Lead discovery workshops, process assessments, design sessions, demonstrations, executive discussions, testing, deployment planning, and adoption activities.
- Build trusted relationships with client executives and key stakeholders, facilitate difficult decisions, manage expectations, and communicate risks, dependencies, and trade-offs clearly.
- Manage delivery quality, scope, schedule, resources, risks, issues, dependencies, and financial performance across workstreams or engagements.
- Coach and develop consultants and senior consultants through structured feedback, hands-on leadership, and opportunities to expand their domain and technology expertise.
- Establish solution roadmaps, implementation plans, operating models, adoption strategies, governance approaches, and measurable value cases.
- Support and lead pre-sales activities, including account planning, proposals, statements of work, solution demonstrations, estimates, client presentations, and pursuit strategy.
- Contribute to market eminence, intellectual capital, reusable assets, accelerators, and offerings that strengthen our Sales Operations and commercial technology portfolio.
- Ensure solutions reflect life sciences-specific requirements related to HCP/HCO data, field force structures, regulatory expectations, data privacy, commercial compliance, and data governance.

Qualifications
Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- 8+ years of consulting or industry experience, including significant experience leading Sales Operations, Commercial Operations, CRM, CPQ, business transformation, or technology implementation initiatives.
- Experience leading end-to-end client engagements or major workstreams, including delivery planning, team leadership, quality management, risk management, and executive communication.
- Strong understanding of Sales Operations processes and performance drivers, including territory and account alignment, segmentation, targeting, quota and incentive planning, forecasting, pipeline management, account planning, pricing, quoting, approvals, and performance reporting.
- Experience implementing or integrating two or more CRM, CPQ, ERP, data, or analytics platforms.
- Experience with APIs, middleware, data integration, workflow automation, enterprise solution architecture, and delivery governance.
- Practical knowledge of Agentic AI, generative AI, large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, tool calling, AI orchestration, or related enterprise AI patterns.
- Ability to convert business requirements into solution strategies, functional designs, technical specifications, implementation plans, roadmaps, and value cases.
- Demonstrated ability to lead workshops, influence senior stakeholders, manage ambiguity, resolve issues, and make sound delivery decisions.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, relationship management, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience leading, coaching, and developing consulting or technology delivery teams
Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:
- Experience with Salesforce, Veeva CRM, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle CPQ, Salesforce Revenue Cloud, SAP CPQ, or similar platforms.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, diagnostics, or healthcare commercial operations.
- Knowledge of HCP/HCO master data, customer consent, field force effectiveness, promotional compliance,
and commercial data governance.
- Experience with cloud platforms, data warehouses, business intelligence tools, and low-code/no-code automation platforms.
- Familiarity with AI governance, model evaluation, prompt engineering, agent monitoring, responsible AI practices, and enterprise controls.
- Consulting, systems integration, product management, enterprise architecture, or operating model design experience.
- Experience developing proposals, estimates, solution demonstrations, reusable assets, or market-facing points of view.
- Relevant Salesforce, Veeva, CPQ, cloud, data, architecture, or AI certifications.

- Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field, or equivalent from accredited university
