Medicare Environmental Management Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and responsible Fleet Manager to manage our vehicle fleet, vehicle maintenance and repair activities, drivers, and waste collection pickers.

The ideal candidate should have a Mechanical background or a relevant degree/diploma, along with practical experience in fleet management, vehicle maintenance, driver coordination, and field operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and monitor the company's fleet of vehicles on a daily basis.
- Ensure all vehicles are available, roadworthy, clean, and properly maintained.
- Plan and coordinate preventive maintenance and periodic servicing.
- Coordinate vehicle repairs, breakdowns, servicing, tyre replacement, battery issues, and other maintenance requirements.
- Maintain complete records of vehicle servicing, repairs, insurance, permits, PUC, fitness certificates, and other statutory documents.
- Coordinate with authorized service centres, mechanics, workshops, and spare-parts suppliers.
- Monitor vehicle maintenance costs and maintain proper repair and service records.
- Ensure timely renewal of vehicle documents and compliance requirements.
- Track vehicle breakdowns and take immediate action to minimize downtime.
- Manage and coordinate drivers and waste collection pickers.
- Prepare driver and picker schedules and allocate vehicles/routes as required.
- Monitor driver attendance, discipline, punctuality, and vehicle usage.
- Coordinate with drivers and pickers regarding daily collection schedules and route requirements.
- Monitor vehicle movement and ensure vehicles follow assigned routes and schedules.
- Address operational issues reported by drivers and pickers.




- Ensure proper use and care of company vehicles and equipment.
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections and identify maintenance requirements.
- Maintain daily/weekly/monthly fleet performance reports.
- Coordinate with the Operations Team for smooth collection and transportation activities.
- Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and applicable transport and environmental requirements.

Required Qualification

- Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Candidates with a strong mechanical background and relevant fleet experience may also be considered.
- Valid knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Basic computer knowledge, including MS Excel, is preferred.

Required Experience

- 0–2 years of experience in fleet management, automobile maintenance, transportation, logistics, or a similar field.
- Experience managing drivers, field staff, and vehicle operations is preferred.
- Experience in waste management, logistics, transportation, or environmental services will be an advantage.
