Job Description

Omkaar Tourist Home in Calicut is seeking a reliable, responsible, and experienced Caretaker (aged 45+) to oversee daily operations. This role is ideal for a mature individual with strong supervisory skills, administrative ability, and a dependable work ethic to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Front Desk & Bookings: Manage guest check-ins, check-outs, room allocations, and handle phone calls or walk-in booking inquiries promptly.
- Property Supervision: Oversee and inspect daily cleaning services, room maintenance, and overall housekeeping standards across the property.
- Operations & Guest Relations: Attend to guest needs, resolve complaints efficiently, and ensure a protected, welcoming environment.
- Vendor & Supply Coordination: Monitor essential inventory (clean linens, toiletries, cleaning supplies) and coordinate basic maintenance issues.

Work Schedule

- Shift Pattern: 24-Hour Alternate Shift (Work 24 hours, followed by 24 hours off).





Requirements & Qualifications

- Age: 45 years or older.
- Experience: Prior experience in hotel desk management, tourist home operations, facility caretakership, or similar guest service roles is preferred.
- Communication: Ability to communicate clearly in Malayalam (knowledge of basic English or Hindi is an added advantage).
- Skills: Strong organizational skills, honest, punctual, and capable of working independently during night hours.

Benefits & Compensation

- Salary: ₹15,000 - ₹20,000
- On-duty accommodation / resting area provided during the shift.
