Job Purpose

To manage and control the complete production operations of the chicken processing plant, ensuring optimum manpower utilization, production targets, product quality, food safety, hygiene, yield, and cost control.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, manage and monitor daily production activities to achieve production targets.
- Manage manpower, shifts, supervisors and line operations for maximum productivity.
- Monitor the complete chicken processing flow including receiving, slaughtering, chilling, cutting/portioning, packing and freezing.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, GHP, HACCP, SSOP, food safety, hygiene and company SOPs.
- Monitor production yield, wastage, recovery, downtime and production cost.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, Purchase and Dispatch departments for smooth operations.
- Ensure proper product temperature control and cold-chain management.
- Identify production bottlenecks and take corrective actions to improve productivity and reduce losses.
- Monitor machinery and equipment utilization and coordinate with Maintenance for breakdowns.




- Review daily production performance and submit MIS reports to management.
- Train and guide production supervisors and workers on process, hygiene, safety and SOP requirements.

Qualification & Experience

- Degree/Diploma in Food Technology, Poultry Technology, Meat Technology, Dairy/Food Processing or relevant field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in chicken processing, poultry, meat processing, frozen food or FMCG/Food Processing industry.
- Strong knowledge of chicken processing, yield management, manpower management, HACCP and food safety standards.
- Positive leadership, production planning and problem-solving skills.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
