Power Press Supervisor – Roles & Responsibilities

- Supervise daily operations of 20 power press machines ranging from 10 to 50 tons, ensuring smooth and safe production as per the production plan.
- Plan and allocate manpower, machines, dies, and production activities to achieve daily production targets and optimum machine utilisation.
- Carry out and supervise die setting, machine setting, and job changeovers, ensuring correct alignment, clearance, stroke, shut height, and feeding arrangements.
- Perform die correction and minor die adjustments to address dimensional, burr, forming, alignment, and other production-related issues, coordinating with the Tool Room for major corrections.
- Monitor production quality by ensuring components are manufactured as per approved drawings, specifications, tolerances, samples, and inspection requirements.
- Conduct first-piece inspection and in-process checks in coordination with Quality, and ensure immediate corrective action for dimensional or process deviations.
- Monitor production output, rejection, rework, downtime, and machine utilisation,



and take corrective actions to improve productivity and reduce process losses.
- Train and supervise press operators on machine operation, die handling, setting practices, quality requirements, safety procedures, and proper material handling.
- Ensure strict compliance with power press safety requirements, including machine guarding, emergency stops, PPE, secure die handling, housekeeping, and safe operating practices.
- Coordinate with Production Planning, Quality, Tool Room, Maintenance, and Stores to resolve production constraints, ensure timely availability of dies/materials, and achieve production, quality, delivery, and productivity targets.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
