- ERP & Systems Integration: Maintain accurate real-time inventory records in SAP/ERP; execute physical stock counts, perpetual audits, and variance reconciliations.
- Vendor & Supply Chain Coordination: Coordinate with Purchasing, Quality Control (QC), Quality Assurance (QA), and Production departments for timely material sampling, quarantine releases, and line clearance.
- Safety & EHS Standards: Enforce stringent safety protocols for handling dangerous chemicals, solvents, and hazardous materials; manage Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and secondary containment.
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead, train, and evaluate store supervisors, material handlers, and forklift operators, fostering a high-accountability and safety-first work environment.
- Audit Readiness: Serve as the primary lead for internal and external supply chain/warehouse audits, ensuring complete documentation, logbooks, and traceability.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field (MBA/PG Diploma in Supply Chain is a plus).
- Experience: 8 to 10 years of progressive warehouse/store management experience specifically within a Chemical or Pharmaceutical manufacturing setup.
- Technical Expertise: Hands-on proficiency with ERP systems (SAP MM / Oracle / Tally ERP 9) and contemporary inventory control tools (barcoding, RFID).
- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of cGMP, FDA regulations, hazardous chemical handling (HAZMAT), and OSHA/EHS compliance.
- Leadership & Analytical Skills: Strong track record of leading teams, optimizing warehouse space, reducing shrinkage/rejection costs, and resolving stock discrepancies.
