Role: Team Lead – Full Stack Development

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Java full-stack developer/team lead with 6–7 years of professional experience in developing and managing scalable web applications.

The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, SQL, and frontend development, along with the ability to lead and mentor a development team.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and manage a team of developers and ensure timely project delivery.

* Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications.

* Develop robust backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.

* Design and develop REST APIs and microservices.

* Work with SQL databases for database design, queries, optimisation, and data management.

* Develop and integrate frontend applications with backend APIs.

* Review code and ensure coding standards, quality, security, and performance.

* Troubleshoot and resolve technical and production issues.

* Participate in system architecture and technical decision-making.

* Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide technical guidance to team members.

* Collaborate with UI/UX, QA, and project management teams.

* Mentor junior and mid-level developers and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions.

* Participate in technical discussions, requirement analysis, and project planning.

Required Technical Skills

Backend:

* Strong proficiency in Java

* Spring Boot

* Spring MVC

* Spring Data JPA / Hibernate

* RESTful API development

* Microservices architecture

* Spring Security / JWT

* Exception handling and API validation

Database:

* Strong experience with SQL





* MySQL / PostgreSQL / SQL Server

* Complex SQL queries

* Joins, subqueries, stored procedures

* Database design and normalisation

* Query and database performance optimisation

Frontend:

* Good hands-on experience with React.js or Angular

* JavaScript / TypeScript

* HTML5 & CSS3

* API integration

* Responsive web development

Tools & Other Skills:

* Git / GitHub / GitLab

* Maven / Gradle

* Docker

* CI/CD concepts

* Basic knowledge of AWS or any cloud platform

* JUnit / Mockito

* Agile/Scrum methodology

Team Lead Responsibilities

* Manage and mentor the development team.

* Perform code reviews and maintain development standards.

* Break down requirements into technical tasks and assign them to developers.

* Track development progress and ensure timely delivery.

* Identify technical challenges and provide solutions.

* Conduct technical interviews and support the hiring process.

* Coordinate with management and other teams regarding technical requirements and project status.

Requirements

* 6–7 years of professional experience in software development.

* Strong hands-on experience in Java + Spring Boot + SQL.

* Experience in developing production-level applications.

* Prior experience in leading or mentoring a development team.

* Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.

* Good communication and problem-solving skills.

* Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, engineering, or a related field.
