Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Physical Education Teacher (PET) to promote physical fitness, sports participation, teamwork, discipline, and healthy lifestyle habits among students. The candidate should be capable of planning and conducting age-appropriate physical education and sports activities in accordance with CBSE curriculum requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging Physical Education classes for students.
- Teach fundamental skills in athletics, games, sports, fitness, and physical activities.
- Organize and conduct sports events, competitions, tournaments, and athletic meets.
- Train and coach students for inter-school and district-level competitions.
- Develop students' physical fitness, coordination, stamina, strength, and flexibility.
- Maintain proper records of students' participation, performance, and fitness assessments.
- Ensure student safety during sports and physical activities.
- Supervise sports equipment and maintain proper inventory.
- Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, discipline, leadership, and fair play.
- Conduct warm-up, stretching, fitness, and conditioning exercises.
- Identify students with sporting potential and provide appropriate coaching.
- Coordinate with school management and other teachers for sports-related activities.
- Support school functions, annual sports day, assemblies, and extracurricular activities.




- Follow school policies and CBSE guidelines related to Physical Education.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) or equivalent qualification.
- Master's Degree in Physical Education (M.P.Ed.) will be an added advantage.
- Relevant sports coaching certifications will be an advantage.

Experience

- Prior teaching/coaching experience in a CBSE school is preferred.
- Freshers with robust sports backgrounds and good communication skills may also be considered.

Salary

As per school norms and based on qualification and experience.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹26,000.00 per month
