Experience

- 5+ years of hands-on DevOps experience.
- Experience owning infrastructure for production applications.
- Experience working on fast-moving projects where requirements can change.

Technical Skills

- Strong AWS experience, including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, Load Balancer and Auto Scaling.
- Strong Docker and containerization experience.
- Kubernetes experience is preferred.
- Solid CI/CD experience using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins or similar.
- Linux administration and server troubleshooting.
- Strong networking knowledge, including DNS, SSL/TLS, firewalls, VPNs and load balancing.
- Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or equivalent.
- Experience with Nginx, reverse proxies and application deployment.
- Database deployment, backups, monitoring and disaster recovery.
- Experience with Redis and other production infrastructure components.

Security

- IAM and least-privilege access.
- Secrets management and secure configuration.
- Vulnerability management and server hardening.
- Firewall, DDoS protection and SSL management.
- Ability to identify and fix security risks in infrastructure and deployment pipelines.

Monitoring and Reliability





- Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch or similar tools.
- Log management and centralized monitoring.
- Alerting and incident response.
- Ability to identify performance bottlenecks and infrastructure failures.
- Experience with backup, recovery and disaster recovery planning.

Cost Optimization

- Ability to audit cloud infrastructure and identify unnecessary expenses.
- Experience optimizing EC2, databases, storage, bandwidth and other cloud resources.
- Ability to decide when to use auto scaling, reserved capacity, containers or other deployment strategies.

Leadership

- Can independently own DevOps and production infrastructure.
- Can review developers' deployment and infrastructure practices.
- Can establish deployment, security and monitoring standards.
- Comfortable handling production incidents and making decisions under pressure.
- Good documentation and communication skills.

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per month
