What’s the role
As a Tax Specialist (APAC & MEA), you will support direct tax activities across APAC and MEA, including Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, UAE, and other countries as required. You will help ensure compliance with tax, statutory, and reporting requirements while partnering with Finance, Legal,
and other business teams to deliver accurate and timely tax reporting, filings, and stakeholder support across Shell's diverse businesses.
What you’ll be doing
Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual tax provisions, tax returns, and related tax reporting requirements in a timely and accurate manner.
Prepare and file statutory accounts and support other regulatory reporting obligations.
Support tax assessments, tax audits, and the resolution of tax and audit-related queries.
Prepare direct tax computations, tax true-ups, and deferred tax provisions, ensuring timely submissions to revenue and statutory authorities.
Ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations, reporting requirements, internal controls, and governance standards.
Collaborate closely with Finance, Legal, and other business teams to support tax compliance and reporting activities.
Manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining a high standard of accuracy,
