About the Role
We are seeking an experienced manufacturing professional to lead Engine Assembly & Testing Operations in a high-volume automotive manufacturing setting. The role is responsible for ensuring safe, productive, and world-class assembly and testing of engines while delivering excellence in Quality, Cost, Delivery, Productivity, Morale, and Setting (SQPDCME).
The incumbent will drive operational performance, manufacturing excellence, quality assurance, process improvements, and people development across engine assembly and testing operations.
Key Responsibilities
Production & Operational Excellence
Lead end-to-end Engine Assembly & Testing operations to achieve SQPDCME targets.
Ensure achievement of daily, monthly, and annual production plans while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Drive operational efficiency through optimal manpower utilization, line balancing, and resource planning.
Monitor and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), productivity, throughput, and operational performance.

Engine Assembly Operations




Manage assembly of engine sub-assemblies and final engine build processes.
Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures, process controls, and quality checkpoints.
Drive first-time-right assembly practices and eliminate assembly-related defects.
Ensure effective torque management and traceability across critical assembly stations.

Engine Testing Operations
Lead engine testing activities including Cold Testing, Hot Testing, End-of-Line (EOL) Testing, Leak Testing, and performance validation processes.
Ensure achievement of testing quality standards and reliability requirements.
Analyze test failures and implement robust corrective and preventive actions.
Drive continuous improvement in test efficiency, pass rates, and test cycle times.
