Plant Head – Automotive Components Manufacturing

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Plant Head to lead end-to-end manufacturing operations of our Propeller Shaft / Transmission Shaft manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities

- Overall responsibility for Production, Quality, PPC, Maintenance, Stores, Safety and Plant Operations.
- Achieve production, quality, delivery, productivity and cost targets.
- Drive OEE, TPM, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen and 5S initiatives.
- Improve machine utilization, manpower productivity and manufacturing efficiency.
- Ensure reduction of rejection, rework, scrap and breakdowns.
- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, safety and statutory requirements.
- Lead customer quality, delivery and operational requirements.
- Manage manpower, industrial relations and employee productivity.




- Drive cost reduction, process improvement and continuous improvement projects.
- Review daily/monthly plant KPIs and take corrective actions.

Desired Profile

- 15–20+ years of experience in automotive / auto-component manufacturing.
- Strong experience in Propeller Shaft, Transmission Shaft, Drive Shaft or similar precision components preferred.
- Strong knowledge of CNC machining, welding, heat treatment, balancing and assembly processes.
- Good knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D, TPM and Lean Manufacturing.
- Solid leadership, problem-solving and people-management skills.
- Candidates currently working as Plant Head / Unit Head / Operations Head / Senior Plant Manager are preferred.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹720,000.00 per year
