We are looking for a reliable and productive Hostel Cook to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing nutritious, wholesome, and appetizing meals for hostel residents (students or working professionals) in a clean, hygienic, and timely manner. The ideal candidate has experience in large-scale cooking, understands nutritional balance, and prioritizes strict kitchen sanitation.

Key Responsibilities

- Meal Preparation & Cooking:
- Plan and prepare daily meals (Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks, and Dinner) according to the scheduled hostel menu.
- Cook food in large quantities while maintaining consistency, quality, and flavor.
- Accommodate basic dietary restrictions or special food needs when required.
- Kitchen Operations & Inventory:
- Monitor stock levels of grocery items, fresh produce, and cooking essentials.
- Inform the management in advance about required supplies and raw materials to avoid shortages.
- Inspect incoming ingredients to ensure freshness and quality.




- Hygiene & Food Safety:
- Clean, sanitize, and maintain all kitchen surfaces, cooking utensils, and appliances daily.
- Adhere strictly to personal hygiene standards and proper food handling practices.
- Store cooked food and unused ingredients safely at correct temperatures to prevent contamination.
- Kitchen Management & Support:
- Direct and supervise kitchen helpers or utility workers during food prep and cleanup.
- Ensure timely serving of meals aligned with established hostel meal hours.
- Manage waste disposal and maintain kitchen cleanliness after every meal shift.

Key Qualifications & Requirements

- Experience: Proven experience as a cook in a hostel, mess, cafeteria, school, or commercial dining hall.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
