Key Responsibilities
A. Financial Reporting & Accounting
Financial Statements & Closing Activities
• Preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and annual financial statements.
• Preparation of financial statements under:
o Indian GAAP (IGAAP)
o Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS)
• Ensure timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing.
• Review of trial balance, general ledger scrutiny, account reconciliations, and balance sheet substantiation.
Ind AS & Technical Accounting
• Ensure compliance with applicable Ind AS requirements, including:
o Ind AS 109 - Financial Instruments
o Ind AS 32 & 107 - Financial Instruments Disclosures
o Ind AS 1 - Presentation of Financial Statements
o Ind AS 12 - Income Taxes
o Ind AS 116 - Leases
o Ind AS 115 - Revenue Recognition
• Preparation of technical accounting position papers and accounting memos.
• Evaluation of recent accounting standards, amendments, and regulatory guidelines impacting the business.

Regulatory & Statutory Reporting
• Preparation and review of disclosures required under:




o Companies Act, 2013
o RBI Directions applicable to NBFCs
o SEBI regulations (where applicable)
• Coordination with statutory auditors, internal auditors, tax auditors, and regulatory auditors.
• Closure of audit observations and support during audits.
Financial Analysis & Controls
• Preparation of schedules, notes to accounts, and supporting workings.
• Review and monitoring of provisioning, ECL computations, and financial reporting impacts.
• Strengthening financial controls, accounting processes, and reporting systems.
• Ensuring compliance with financial reporting policies and SOPs.
MIS & Management Reporting
• Preparation of financial MIS and analytical reports for senior management.
• Variance analysis, trend analysis, and commentary on key financial metrics.
• Support business teams in accounting treatment and financial reporting implications of transactions.
Systems & Process Improvement
• Coordination
