We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our dedicated team in the Steel department.

Job Responsibilities:




Prepare and/or assist in completing budgetary and final estimating of scopes of work
Apply technical knowledge to support efficient estimating and cost-effective solutions
Responsible for detailed cost estimates and qualification development for bid proposals
Perform detailed structural and miscellaneous take-offs
Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and architects during estimate creation to ensure overall accuracy
Assist with Project Controls (Schedule/Cost control)

Qualifications:
Minimum 3 Years’ experience specifically in estimating steel detailing projects
Must be proficient with MS Office Suite (especially Excel), Bluebeam, and Tekla Structures
Work experience in tilt-up panel manufacturing facilities, and schools is an asset, but not required
Must have experience in reading US design drawings
Robust interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills are required
