WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You will be part of Nike's HR Business Consulting (HRBC) Southeast Asia & India (SEA&I;) team, reporting to the Director, HR Business Consulting AP. This role operates as a HR Generalist across a dynamic environment, partnering closely with HR Business Partners, HR Operations, Centers of Excellence, Employee Relations, Employment Legal and business leaders to deliver a seamless, teammate-centric people experience and provide expert guidance on people management and employee matters.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for an experienced and people-focused HR leader to lead the HRBC team in India. This role combines team leadership, HR advice and coaching to people managers, service delivery oversight and stakeholder partnership. In a matrixed, quick-moving workplace, you stay curious, adapt quickly, and lean into ambiguity. You will guide a team to ensure consistent and high-quality support across the performance and workplace concerns and manage complex or high-impact matters when leadership judgement is required.
Master’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
10+ years of HR experience across HR generalist roles in shared services and cross-border environments, with strong working knowledge of Employee Relations and HR Operations. HR Business Partnering experience is an advantage.
Robust knowledge of India HR practices, labour law and statutory requirements.
Proven people leadership, coaching and team development experience.
Strong stakeholder management, communication and consulting skills across HR functions and in a multi-cultural environment.
Sound judgment and ability to manage sensitive and complex employee matters.
Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
Strong execution, continuous improvement mindset, and building scalable processes
Proficiency with HR technology and case management systems.
