ISS STOXX is looking for a Full Stack Developer (Java and React) to join our team in Mumbai (Goregaon East), India

Overview:

We’re seeking a driven and technically grounded Software Engineer (3–5 years of experience) to join our Engineering team and help build the next generation of our full-stack platform. You’ll work closely with senior engineers to design, develop, and ship features across the entire stack—using a modern, integrated toolchain including Java, React, Node.js, Hasura, PostgreSQL, Nhost, and Docker.

Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions across the full stack (front-end and back-end).
Architect and implement GraphQL APIs using Hasura and custom resolvers to provide effective data access for client applications.
Develop and maintain backend services and serverless functions using Node.js, integrated with NHOST and PostgreSQL.
Build energetic, responsive, and user-friendly web interfaces using React.




Containerize applications using Docker to ensure consistency across development, staging, and production environments.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to translate requirements into technical deliverables.
Promote code quality through unit and integration testing and active participation in code reviews.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues across the application stack.
Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing knowledge and best practices within the team.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of qualified software development experience.
Proven hands-on experience with the core technology stack:
Backend: Java / Node.js
Frontend: React
Database: PostgreSQL (including schema design and performance optimization)
