Description
We are looking for a proficient Engineer specialized in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and Power Plant Controllers (PPC). The ideal candidate will be responsible for design, engineering, testing, and providing site support, with a focus on compliance with industry standards and grid codes.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Project Design and Engineering:
Participate in project design and detailed engineering.
Understand and create Single Line Diagrams for Electrical Networks and Switchgear components.
Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM), Functional Design Specifications (FDS), Heat Load/Current Load Calculations, General Arrangement (GA) drawings, and Input/Output (IO) assignments.
Power Plant Controller Design:
Design and detail PPC systems for PV Solar, Wind, and BESS for Front of the Meter (FTM) applications ensuring compliance with Indian Grid Code.
Work on custom functions including Voltage & Frequency regulation, Active & Reactive Power control, Low Voltage Ride Through (LVRT), High Voltage Ride Through (HVRT),



and Black Start capabilities.
Testing and Compliance:
Develop test procedures and conduct test demonstrations in alignment with grid code compliance.
Simulation and Modeling:
Perform PSCAD and PSSE model simulations for renewable energy projects.
SCADA System Preparation:
Prepare and configure databases for SCADA systems.
PLC/RTU Programming:
Engage in PLC/RTU programming using Function Block and Structured Text Language.
Electrical Network Design:
Exhibit knowledge in designing and detailed engineering of Electrical Networks for HV/MV/LV Systems as per the latest engineering standards.
Electrical Protocol Experience:
Have experience in electrical protocols such as IEC61850, IEC60870-101/104, ICCP, OPC, DNP3, and Modbus.
Interface with 3rd party devices on Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, and other relevant protocols.
