About the Role

Dancing Drops is a tech-enabled laundry pickup and delivery service based in Kochi. We are looking for an ambitious and hands-on Digital Marketing Intern to support and grow our customer acquisition channels over a 6-month period.

Google Ads is our primary marketing driver, so foundational knowledge or hands-on familiarity with campaign management is essential. You will also assist in building our social media presence, creating engaging visual content, and helping convert online interest into real orders.

This internship is ideal for someone looking to take ownership of real marketing budgets, learn performance-driven marketing, and transition into a full-time role upon successful completion.

As the primary digital marketing person at Dancing Drops, you will have direct ownership of our online growth channels and report directly to company leadership. This is a hands-on, self-starter role ideal for someone eager to learn independently and execute end-to-end campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

- Google Ads Support: Assist in managing Google Search & Local campaigns, including keyword research, ad copywriting, negative keyword updates, and basic bidding optimizations.
- Social Media & Content Creation: Design visual assets using Canva or Adobe tools, write engaging captions, and maintain a consistent posting calendar for Instagram and other social channels.
- Conversion Tracking & Analytics: Learn and assist in monitoring campaign performance using Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM).
- Copywriting & SEO: Write engaging promotional copy, short blogs,



and website content tailored to local customers in Kochi.
- Creative Testing: Help design and test different ad creatives, offers, and landing page ideas to improve order conversion rates.
- Performance Reporting: Track daily spend, clicks, leads, and customer orders to help evaluate marketing ROI alongside the team.
- Operational Coordination: Work closely with the operations team to ensure promotions align with service availability and capacity.

Requirements

- Education/Experience: Final-year students, recent graduates, or candidates with up to 1 year of internship/project experience in Digital Marketing.
- Google Ads Knowledge: Basic understanding or coursework in Google Ads is mandatory (hands-on experience with live or practice campaigns is a robust plus).
- Content & Design Skills: Practical experience creating graphics using Canva, Adobe Express, Photoshop, or similar tools. Basic video editing skills (Reels/Shorts) are preferred.
- Copywriting: Good written communication skills in English for drafting ad copies, social posts, and headlines.
- Analytical Mindset: Basic familiarity with Google Analytics, Excel/Google Sheets, and a focus on tracking real business results (orders) rather than just clicks.
- Availability: Must be available for a full-time, 6-month in-office internship at our Kochi location.
- Self-Driven & Resourceful: High degree of ownership, ability to work independently without a dedicated marketing senior, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
