Role Overview
We are looking for a Electrician & Service Engineer to install, commission, and service Selplast's product range at customer sites, primarily with Tier-1 automotive and plastics manufacturing clients. This role involves extensive domestic travel and hands-on technical work in a plant environment. Full product training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, commission, and service Selplast products at client manufacturing facilities
- Provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting for equipment breakdowns
- Travel extensively across India to client locations as required
- Work adaptable/odd hours when needed to align with client production schedules
- Coordinate professionally with Tier-1 organization plant teams and stakeholders
- Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation
- Build solid working relationships with client maintenance and production teams
Candidate Requirements
- Experience: 2+ years in Injection Molding, Plastics industry, or Automotive sector (freshers with relevant technical background also considered)
- Qualification: ITI, Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Communication: Good spoken and written English
- Mobility: Must own and be able to ride a two-wheeler; willing to travel extensively
- Availability: Comfortable working odd/flexible hours as per client requirements
- Attitude: Willing to learn — full training on Selplast's product range will be provided
Compensation
- Experienced candidates: ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month
- Freshers: ₹18,000 – ₹20,000 per month
