About the Role

We are looking for an SDET II – Full-Stack Quality Engineering & API Automation to build scalable test automation across the product, with a robust focus on backend/API quality, automation, and end-to-end product validation.

The role combines API-first test engineering, frontend and end-to-end testing, product understanding, CI/CD, and AI-assisted quality engineering. You will work closely with developers, architects, product teams, and QA engineers to ensure quality across the complete user and service journey.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable API automation frameworks for functional, regression, negative, integration, contract, schema, and data-driven testing.
AnalyzeOpenAPI/Swagger specifications to identify API contracts, scenarios, validation prospects, and gaps between specification and implementation.
Build reusable automation for authentication, request generation, assertions, test data, workplace configuration, and API validations.
AnalyzeAPI traffic, existing automation, specifications,



and runtime data to identify missing API coverage and prioritize automation based on risk, usage, and business criticality.
Develop and maintainfrontend and end-to-end automation covering critical user journeys and integration points across UI, APIs, and backend services.
Validate complete business workflows across UI → API → services → database, identifying issues that may not be visible at a single layer.
Develop strong product/domain knowledge and use it to identify meaningful scenarios, edge cases, business-rule violations, and gaps in test coverage.
Leverage AI coding assistants and agentic workflows (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude or equivalent) for test design, automation, debugging, maintenance, and failure analysis.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and establishappropriate execution strategies for PR, deployment, regression, and release validation.
