Summary:
The Functional Construction Accountant primarily provides accounting data entry support services relating to the company’s routine job cost transactions.



This role ensures the accurate posting of project costs, commitments, contracts, invoices, draws, and capitalization activity. The ideal candidate brings basic accounting fundamentals, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a rapid-paced setting. Primary Responsibilities:
Responsible for ensuring accurate accounting records for construction, development, and capital projects, including the data entry of project budgets, commitments, actual costs, change orders, and contract balances in the job cost system.
Ensure project costs are properly coded, recorded, and allocated to the correct jobs, entities, cost categories and phases.
Posting payment draws in the job cost system and reviewing the accuracy of supporting documentation for invoices, p
