Why this role exists
We're building an AI-native marketing function in-house — one that moves at a pace agencies can't match. This role owns how Softobiz shows up in the market, how demand gets built, and the team that delivers it. We want a leader who treats AI as the default way of working, not an add-on, and who can build a small, sharp team that outproduces a full agency.

What you'll own

The function: Full ownership of marketing strategy and execution — brand, demand, content, and design — accountable directly to leadership.
The team: Build and lead the in-house engine. The Content Lead and Design Lead report to you; you set the standard, the cadence, and the bar. Brand: Own and evolve the Softobiz brand system — voice, visual consistency, and how every campaign ladders up to our AI-first positioning.
Growth & performance: Own paid across Meta, LinkedIn, and Google and SEO — today run through agencies. You'll manage those partners to a high standard now,



and build the in-house capability to bring both disciplines in over time.
Agencies → in-house: Hold external partners accountable to our standard, own the relationships, and lead the transition of paid and SEO from outsourced to in-house as the team matures.
Measurement: Own the numbers — CAC, CPL, pipeline contribution, organic growth — and run a weekly optimization rhythm off them, not gut feel.

Demand ownership: set the targets, then hit them
This role carries a marketing-sourced demand mandate, not just a brand one — but we're not handing you a number. Building it is part of the job. In your first 30 days you'll model our MQL and pipeline targets from the ground up, agree them with leadership, and then own delivery against them month over month.
