Job Summary

The Occupational Therapist is responsible for assessing patients’ functional abilities and providing individualized occupational therapy interventions to improve independence, participation, and quality of life. The role involves working with patients across different age groups and collaborating with physiotherapists, doctors, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities1. Patient Assessment

- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments.
- Evaluate functional, motor, sensory, cognitive, and developmental abilities.
- Identify limitations affecting daily activities, education, work, and social participation.
- Develop individualized treatment goals based on assessment findings.

Treatment & Rehabilitation

- Plan and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment programs.
- Provide interventions to improve fine motor skills, gross motor coordination, balance, strength, and functional abilities.

- Conduct activities related to Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and functional independence.
- Provide sensory integration and sensory-based interventions when clinically appropriate.

Pediatric Occupational Therapy

- Assess and provide therapy for children with developmental and functional difficulties.
- Work on fine motor skills, handwriting, sensory processing, attention, coordination, and activities of daily living.
- Develop age-appropriate therapeutic activities.
- Educate parents/caregivers regarding home-based activities and follow-up.

Documentation

- Maintain accurate and updated patient assessment and treatment records.
- Document treatment plans, progress notes, reassessments, and discharge summaries.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Complete documentation within the required timeline.

Qualified Responsibilities

- Follow all organizational policies, clinical protocols, safety procedures, and ethical standards.
- Maintain professional conduct, punctuality, grooming, and patient-friendly communication.
- Attend training programs, meetings, and professional development activities.
- Maintain appropriate infection-control and patient-safety practices.
- Perform other clinical responsibilities assigned by the HOD/Management.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
