Job Summary:
We are looking for a tecnician to join our solar team. The candidate should know the basics in solar rooftop systems and will be responsible for assisting with site visits, installation activities, basic technical work, customer coordination, vendor coordination, and project follow-up.
Key Responsibilities
1. Site Visits & Survey
- Visit customer sites for preliminary solar site surveys.
- Check and record roof area, shadow conditions, electrical connections, meter details and available space.
- Take site photographs and measurements.
- Collect required information for preparing quotations and project planning.
2. Installation & Technical Support
- Assist the senior technician/engineer in solar panel installation.
- Assist with mounting structures, DC/AC cabling, earthing and basic electrical work.
- Assist in inverter installation and commissioning activities.
- Follow safety procedures during installation and maintenance.
- Learn and follow company SOPs for solar installation and O&M.;
3. Field Coordination
- Coordinate with customers regarding site visits, installation schedules and service requirements.
- Coordinate with installation teams, electricians, vendors and other field personnel.
- Follow up on pending site work and report the status to the senior/team leader.
- Ensure materials and tools required for site work are available.
4. Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare daily site visit and work reports.
- Maintain photographs and records of completed work.
- Update project status and pending activities.
- Assist in preparing delivery challans, material requirements and other project documents.
- Update information in Excel/CRM as required.
5. Customer & Service Support
- Communicate professionally with customers during site visits.
- Understand basic customer queries and coordinate with the concerned technical person for resolution.
- Assist the O&M; team during maintenance and troubleshooting visits.
- Support panel cleaning and preventive maintenance activities when required.
Skills Required
- Diploma/ITI/BE/B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical or related field is preferred.
- Freshers are welcome.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and willingness to learn solar technology.
- Valuable communication and coordination skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and mobile applications.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites.
- Ability to work in the field and coordinate with different teams.
- Two-wheeler and valid driving licence would be an advantage.

Pay: ₹8,800.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
