Job Description:

The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be the primary commercial growth engine of the organisation, responsible for identifying, developing, and converting business opportunities across all product lines. The incumbent will build and manage a robust customer pipeline, forge strategic alliances, negotiate high-value contracts, and collaborate closely with operations, logistics, and finance teams to ensure seamless order fulfilment and sustained revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Business Development
Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with the company’s ₹300 Cr+ revenue targets and long-term growth roadmap.
Identify and evaluate recent market segments, geographies, and customer verticals for dolomite, calcined dolomite, ferro alloys, and CPC.
Lead end-to-end bid management, proposal development, and contract negotiations for large institutional and industrial accounts.
Build a structured sales pipeline with monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue projections for each product division.




Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
Acquire current B2B clients in steel plants, ferro alloy manufacturers, refractory producers, cement plants, aluminium smelters, and power utilities.
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers – procurement heads, plant managers, and C-suite executives.
Conduct regular client visits, plant tours, and product demonstrations to reinforce technical credibility and commercial trust.
Resolve customer complaints and quality concerns with speed and diplomacy, ensuring retention and repeat business.
Product Line Management – Business Perspective
Dolomite & Calcined Dolomite: Drive volume sales to steel and refractory sectors; monitor MgO/CaO grade requirements and align supply commitments.
Ferro Alloys (FeMn, SiMn, FeCr, etc.): Manage trading relationships, spot and contract sales, import/export coordination, and price risk.
