Markandey Healthcare and Research Center is looking to hire Medical officer and duty doctors for upcoming Markandey Healthcare and Research Center. A Duty Doctor is a medical skilled responsible for overseeing patient care during a specified duty shift, ensuring timely and effective management of healthcare needs.
Responsibilities:
Perform initial assessments and provide treatment for acute medical conditions.
Monitor the progress of admitted patients and update treatment plans as needed.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely medical records, including clinical notes and discharge summaries.
Report critical patient updates to senior consultants or specialists.
Emergency Management: Provide immediate care in emergency situations (e.g., cardiac arrest, trauma).
Perform minor procedures such as suturing, wound care, and IV line insertions.
Coordination: Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to deliver quality patient care.
Communicate with patients’ families regarding the condition and treatment plan.
Requirements
MBBS Degree:
A Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from a recognized medical institution.
License/Registration: Registration with the relevant medical council (e.g., Medical Council of India, GMC in the UK, etc.).
Postgraduate Degree/Diploma (preferred for some roles): MD, MS, or a diploma in a relevant specialization.
Clinical Knowledge: Robust understanding of medical procedures, patient care, and diagnostics.
Emergency Management: Ability to handle medical emergencies and perform basic life support (BLS) and advanced life support (ALS) procedures.
Decision-Making: Quick decision-making skills under pressure.
Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with medical software and electronic health records
